We recently worked on a very tall palm tree in Menifee, CA that hadn’t been maintained in a while. The tree had a lot of dried fronds hanging from the top, and the trunk had old growth that needed to be cleaned up. The goal was to trim the fronds, clean the trunk, and get the tree back into good shape.
We started by removing the dead fronds from the crown, working carefully to trim everything safely from top to bottom. Once that was done, we moved on to skinning the trunk. This step involved stripping away the old frond bases so the trunk looked clean and the tree looked better overall.
After finishing the trimming and skinning, we cleaned up all the debris and hauled it away. The area around the tree was left neat and clear.
